It's been a gorgeous long weekend with Auntie Kirsten; after a walk down the estuary this morning and surprisingly popular apple and parsnip soup for lunch I took her up to Newquay and waved her off. The children played every possible moment with her parting gift of choir birds. And all bed time. And I can still hear one tweeting.
Great visit to Jennifer and Simon's super-insulated, heat pumped, solar panelled cliff-top cottage. Enormous thank you for the three hour detailed guided tour. Sadly no time left for the before and after photos- next time! Really inspiring.
