Lindisfarne Priory

We had a lazy morning pottering around the cottage. Kerr and Daddy took Fudge for a long walk then we checked the tide times and headed across to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

We went to the Priory and the boys had a good time exploring all the nooks and crannies and climbing on the ruins.

Excellent coffee and cakes at Pilgrims Coffee House. We sat outside to have them and were surrounded by really tame birds all after some crumbs from our cakes. Mack thought this was hilarious.

Back to the cottage for dinner and a bit of packing.
Heading home tomorrow after a lovely holiday. We will definitely visit this area again.
