Reflecting on Autumn

Today we made our annual visit to Mount Usher Gardens to see how the Autumn colour is coming along, something we do every year even though we might visit the garden in the Spring as well.
Lots to see and photograph but I thought this would sum up my feelings as we head into the tail end of yet another year. Nature bidding an old year "good bye" and preparing for the new growth of a new year. This is my own last Autumn in the regular work force. By the time the Spring comes around I will have reached retirement age so right now I'm doing a bit of reflection in the Autumn of my own life.
