Grey Heron

I always look out for EzHighway's journal entries and am amazed at the wonderful shots there, thinking I will never get the chance to photograph such creatures.

Today I did, and here is my grey heron, with a link to EzHighway's Great Blue Heron posted on the same date. So a Blipsnap I think.

I like the way the bird is carefully edging across the ice, almost balletic. This was taken in the park, on the pond.
