Another fine mas ...

A typical extended farmhouse called a mas in this part of the world and this one is in a peaceful village called Tastevin - a great name for those who mix their English and their French.
Peaceful however has not always been true sadly. On the 4th of August 1943 there was a battle here between almost one hundred German soldiers and a handful of resistance fighters which ended up with six maquis and three innocent local killed. Difficult times that many here still remember including our voisin.
