Let sleeping dogs lie!

Was on the radio this morning, Radio nan Gaidheal (Gaelic station) along with 2 other guys discussing the merits (or demerits) of Gordon Brown's apology to those children that Britain sent to Australia many years ago.

2 of us thought it was just a vote catcher and if GB was realy that repentant, why did the Gov not offer to compensate those involved! Other guy thought is was good to publically clear ones conscience. Interviewer asked what about all the land Canada was giving back to the Native Americans and Austrialia to the Aboriginies. I asked what about the vast tracts of Highland glens and islanders that had their homes burned and were shipped off to Canada and Austrialia, was GB going to apologise to them too? Silence!

Have rebooked my ballon flight that was canceled last year and it will now be 17th April. Took the plunge today and bought another camera with two lenses, my pal is going to collect it so hubby and I may have to travel down to Bristol to pick it up as I'm too scared to have her put it in the post!

Still want a new lens for the big guy so that will have to be either a birthday pressie or an anniversary pressie (kids tell me its our 25th this year! where has all the time gone?

Been persuaded to go out to a pub quiz tonight, they don't know how much a liability I am at those things! hee hee may not be asked back. Doggies tired today and picture is of Freda hugging Abbie (only in sleep will Freda do such a thinkg!)
