Autumn sunset

It's been a beautiful autumn day, warm sunshine this morning turning cooler at sunset. Was at Minsmere to help out with half term activities. Lots of families visiting took advantage of the opportunity to make an insect hotel. Was lovely watching them all engrossed, adults and children alike. Stayed on after my duties were done and decided that, as the weather was so lovely, I'd have a look at the Starling roost which has been building over the last few weeks. This sunset took place as we were waiting. The murmuration itself was not quite as dramatic but still a wonderful natural spectacle which enthralled those who hadn't seen it before.
