Tour of duty

The last British troops pulled out of Camp Bastion this morning, leaving the base in the hands of Major-General Saeed Malouk, who is in charge of Afghan forces in Helmand.

Fears of attack from the Taliban were unfounded and now Afghanistan is back in the hands of its own people.
