Hopeful...

After the clock change it was really nice to get up again in the light, though this will gradually disappear again. Work was work. Nuff said. My brother popped in to swear the probate papers with me in front of a colleague, the first time he’s ever seen my workplace.

The weather today has been simply stunning for late October, blue skies and sun with 19C on my car temperature gauge. An Indian summer for half term, lucky kids.

L’s family are still here, as is Queen Lottie, who obligingly posed for me on the grass today. I think she thought she might get a treat if she did so, but I’m not authorised to give out treats willy nilly so she was disappointed!

I’ll have a quiet evening in with my guests tonight and might play another board game with the boys I hope.
