Tip of the iceberg........

You can't see the base but this is one rose bush in our back yard and its blooms were looking so spectacular this year it deserved to be photographed.

Petals hadn't fallen but I think the first winds will disturb it.

I imagine the iceberg rose is enjoyed all over the world. Flowering now for those of us who are upside down and becoming dormant for others in the northern hemisphere.

I planted a new variety of iceberg called "brilliant pink" on the weekend - hope it does as well as this 15 year old floribunda.
