what a night
80 000 lightning strikes over Adelaide and the Hills (I kid you not) and for some reason my camera would not work. This random shot was as close as I got to getting something. Still, it has a strangeness that I quite like.
It started when I was in the local supermarket, and I heard one of the loudest bangs I've ever heard as a bolt of lightning hit just outside. about 20 minutes later it was on for young and old.
I wonder if I'd had an old analogue camera whether I would have had as much trouble. I just could not get the camera to settle on a shot no matter which settings I chose. Is it possible to have so much electrical charge in the atmosphere that it plays havoc with the electronics? It didn't faze the tv or the iphone.
