Cockspur Coral flower

Stunning flowers from this large scrub which is now flowering prolifically between Spring (now) to Autumn. The flower shaped like a claw and in clusters.

I find it interesting all colourful and unusually flowering plants have been declared by the Department of Primary Industries as a weed. And without these colours in the bush, the Australian Landscape is pretty much green and gold only.
