Quakers At Charney Manor

Quakers At Charney Manor is the title of this painting by John Perkin. I've already written about John's work and artistic vision in describing Meeting In Silence. This one is of the Solar at Charney Manor, where it is on display in the library.

We finished our weekend away together with Meeting for Worship in the Solar - a wonderful conclusion to what has been such a rich, rewarding and joyful experience for all of us. As one of our Elders remarked afterwards, "The silence was deafening."
