'After the Storm'

We had a huge thunder and lightning storm last night. The loud claps of thunder woke both MsMun & myself up, luckily both kids slept through it. The flashes of lightning we could see outside our bedroom window and then down came the rain, very heavy rain for a probably about an hour or so which threw the morning peak hour traffic into chaos. It took me almost 2 hours to drive to the office this morning and I heard on the radio that the city loop had been closed down so no trains we going through the city.

Luckily no reports of anything too serious except a tree fell through a house in Prahran after being struck by lightning, no occupants injured.

A wander around home tonight before dark and a few shots in the garden and chicken coup. He is one of the Isa Browns looking very quizzically at me.
