Cloud over the apple tree

Our apple tree has just about finished flowering, and although the apples that the tree produces aren't that nice for eating, the tree is rather pretty sitting in the middle of the paddock.

I was feeding the calves in the paddock this afternoon, and was admiring the view, which we always seem to take for granted. The dark cloud was hovering around the hills, and I thought it looked very pretty, especially with the wee bit of blue sky poking through,

It's back to school tomorrow after a three day weekend. I could get use to these shorter working weeks!
