Yesterday, I found this very small nest on the ground under the Wisteria plant.

I picked it up as it seemed too beautiful to just leave to be ruined by the elements and lawnmower.

This is nature at its best - lichen, moss, hair, fur, threads and other plant material have all been woven to perfection. The inside is soft and padded for comfort.

Perhaps someone can tell me which bird has crafted and used this nest.
