Seaside's Gilbert Inn

We took a little trip to the coast and stayed in Seaside, where we have never stayed before. We always had a beach cabin at Manzanita, so never stayed anywhere else, but some friends were down at the coast and we though we'd join them for a couple days, and SEASIDE it was! It's interesting how you have your favorite spots, but I really enjoyed this town, and was amazed at the lakes and estuary network that exists. Not until I started photography and birding, did I really appreciate what this town and area has to offer.

Yesterday was a very windy stormy day, but today started out with a bit of sunshine. What a nice surprise. This is the place we stayed...a very nice little hotel near everything.
