A trip to the city

Today we decided to take a trip to the city. Wee B had a nightmare the other day about crabs which came into the crib with him (we have no idea what caused it) and he refused to sleep in his crib for the rest of that night, and naps the next day. He is mostly over it but if you mention them, then he still gets a little upset.

We have looked at pictures of crabs and made up a crab dance and thought that the next thing to do was to look at the crabs at the wharf. We had a great drive in - where an told us about everything he could see and then it was off to see the crustaceans.

It's took a few minutes for him to be comfortable, but before you knew it, he was offering high 5's and giving them names.

After lunch at Prather Ranch Meat Co - who have the best burgers, a coffee from the bluebottle cafe we decided to walk down to Pier 39. It's a long walk for small legs, but Wee B managed it all and was rewarded with a ride on the carousel.

The day was finished with a special gift, a crab hand puppet who has been dubbed Mr Pinchy
