Tapu Bay

My tripod has broken and my sister offered me hers so we went to collect it and try it out this morning. A grey day after a little overnight rain but not cold. We sat on her balcony having a cuppa and a scone while I tried all the bits and bobs on the tripod. This is looking across the reserve toward the beach to the southwest. The tide is in and no wind. Someone has made a driftwood hut. A tui was calling and there was the odd person and dog venturing out. It is a beautiful spot and it is hard to see from this photo but there are houses right round the beach all with their own different view of sea and sand.
