Nothing to see here

..move along, move along.

The disadvantage of this creative mayhem and my madness in preparing for this Halloween party is that there is no time or space for anything else, so you get another photo of day of the dead party preps. This time biscuits iced by Alice this morning - a test run for a new biscuit cutter.

It's definitely a form of madness; my obsession with this and other parties; a craving for something I haven't got maybe? Anyway it's all-consuming and I suppose these photos while not very interesting for you lovely lot, will be a reminder of the intensity of it all.

Mind you we did divert ourselves this morning with the discovery of a large wasps nest in our attic space. We worked round it to retrieve fairy lights but now I guess we'll need to get pest control in. I know they're wasps but it's sad in a way - the nest is beautiful. It is however rather large and seemingly full of cross wasps.

I did actually take a photo of it - that would've made a change wouldn't it? But I was up a wobbly ladder with my head stuck in a darkish space with dozy but angry wasps flying around my head and it turned out a bit blurred. I'm afraid I decided not to go back for another try. Soz, where's my dedication to blip duty?
