Museum day

The forecast was for rain most of the day so we decided to visit a couple of museums, something I have never done in London. The queues outside the Natural History Museum was massive so we went across to the V&A first - some interesting bits but not all to my taste.

We did eventually get to the Natural History Museum which was really interesting but so busy and warm. Loved this escalator through the centre of the earth, not a great picture but thought I would use it. Lottie was fascinated by it!

The rain had stayed off which was a bit frustrating as we could have been outside all day. As it was we had a rather long walk across to see the Queen, who unfortunately was out! We loved the squirrels in the royal parks though.
