This stylish hotel lobby was picturesque in itself, but the newspapers on 25 Feb gave an added reason to blip - Sachin Tendulkar's new world record of scoring 200 runs in a one day international game of cricket - against South Africa. Naturally, in a nation where cricket is virtually a religion - all the Indian newspapers had this as front page news and some even described Tendulkar as god eg The Indian Express in the centre of the newspaper stand.
