Happy day

A happy day because I have had family here today.
George is staying with us for half term week while his parents have a well earned rest. They delivered him to us today and we enjoyed a roast dinner round the big table.
It seems a long time since we had a good chat and we caught up with all their news. To compensate for the dark evening we had a glowing log fire, the first of the season.
