Happy Birthday, David!

It was worth the unpleasant drive both ways through strong winds and torrential rain to Troon for David's 70th birthday lunch.

Gill produced a wonderful buffet and managed to seat all 19 of us friends and family round a table in the lounge. There was much celebrating and hilarity over reminiscences as David turned from his usual Grumpy Old Man persona into centre of attention.

I don't think I'll need to eat for at least a week...
