Decorating ideas
Today I walked into the centre to buy Pixie food, and then decided to visit the Senate Gardens on the way home. I also decided to use the new exit I discovered last weekend and, as I wandered through the courtyard, noticed that some of the reception rooms were open, as was a small gallery where they exhibit gifts given to the Czech Senate by various delegates. The Senate reception rooms weren't quite to my taste - a little too decorative for me - but I was rather taken by this wallpaper, and an attractive fireplace decorated with handmade Italian tiles. The gallery was fascinating. It was in the basement of the building where the ceilings are low and the floors irregular. Words fail me when it comes to describing the gifts. I'm just relieved that none of them were given to me. Well, there were one or two I might give house-room to, but the vast majority were 'interesting' ...
