Hot chocolate, friends and Downton Abbey

Today started with hot chocolate in bed, after which we went for a walk in both Westburn and Victoria park. It was a great day for a stroll; the leaves blowing around us as we wandered through.

This afternoon I headed out to Formartine's near Tarves to catch up with a friend. Food was followed by coffee and the hours passed by unnoticed as we shared stories.

Now it's home for more food and, later, Downton Abbey; I'm a recent convert to the programme, yet it's quickly become an important part our Sunday evening routine.
