WWII Veteran And Ron

My dear friend, Congressman Ron Barber, came to our town today to talk to the faithful and encourage them to keep up the good fight.  He's in a dead-heat with his (Koch brothers-backed Tea Party) Republican challenger.

As he was leaving, this proud World War II veteran brought in the sign he had staked in his yard supporting the Congressman for re-election and asked him to sign it.  Ron was touched and humbled by the man's request.  I was fortunate enough to capture the moment.
