A Close Look

It looked as if this common puffball and a few others of his family were floating on the moss.
On a closer look I found the connection to the "mother ship".
Never seen that before.

A wonderful autumn day, good for another (maybe the last?) bicycle ride. 651 km so far this year. For a good-weather-cyclist like me not bad, I think.
