Spring does eventually arrive to the Pacific Northwest, and it never ceases to bring a smile to my lips when I see flowers, that we've either planted or were planted by prior residents, return. I love it when these beauties poke their heads up and greet me along our driveway! Their cheery heads, rising from the brown, crispy leaves of fall that remain on the ground in spite of the winter winds, snow, and rain that we might still be experiencing, send us the promise of warmer days ahead!
