A horrible wet and windy start to the day saw our planned walk amended and Coco, Ky and I having a wee look around Bridge of Allan. Home again I introduced Ky to the delight of a cinnamon whirl, zapped in the microwave for 30 seconds - she couldn't believe she'd never had one and it has gone to the top of her list of favourite things!
After lunch, with the boys distracted by football, we headed to Linlithgow and a walk around the loch. It was a much nicer afternoon but still very windy. On the way home we decided to buy more cinnamon whirls - this mornings one had only been a half each, home to whirls and hot chocolate WITH marshmallows AND cream, had to be done after a blustery walk.
Everyone helped to prepare dinner and then cuddled up on the sofa with warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cream - some days the weather just calls for a little indulgence! And just to make it all worth while, as Ky cuddled me goodnight she thanked me for a lovely day, thank you Ky for a lovely day! x
