Once bitten...

Had a lazy day today apart from a brief pop out to Costco to pick up one or two things, including a new shredder (this was exciting as the papers had been building up since our last one broke a while ago, so I had fun when we got home, disposing of all of those in a violent, noisy, shredding kind of way) and a 32 GB SD card for Leejohnaire’s new camera (have to make sure there’s enough room for all of his photo experiments).

This evening we went to our neighbourhood Halloween party that was being held in our street. As I’ve mentioned before, we have the best neighbours we’ve ever had and they often organize gatherings like this at different ‘holidays’. Halloween is huge here and loads of families turned out in costume, adults and children alike – possibly adults slightly more! We took loads of photos of the evening which we’ll share with all involved but narcissistically the one I’ve chosen to blip is one of us. We eventually asked one of our neighbours to take a photo of us with my camera – I hope it’s not considered cheating if we didn’t actually take it. It was all my own work otherwise! :-)
