Welcome Home Tui

It was great to be welcomed home by a burst of tui song. A neighbour had fed them while I was gone, but they were so busy at the feeder today you would have thought I had left them to starve.

I tried taking the photo from a different spot today but looking at it I am not sure it was such a good idea. There are lots of distracting white sky areas behind the bird from this angle.

It will have to do for today.
