The colors and various elements in rows caught my eye, the neat row of Tonka trucks, the pumpkins and bonsais.
A very windy day, a lot of people without power, we've been okay but the lights dip every so often. We spent about 3 hours putting the basement back in order, furniture shifting, that kind of thing. It feels good to have things looking as they should. After those tasks we took a walk in the very blustery conditions, leaves swirling and lots of branches down.
We watched a movie last night:
Tim's Vermeer (2013), documentary. Inventor Tim Jenison, who is obsessed by Vermeer's paintings and the photorealism of the images, sets out to see if he can recreate The Music Lesson by using lens and mirror techniques he believes Vermeer possibly used to achieve his paintings. It was pretty fascinating.
