Jewelz and her little red plaster

Didn't get much sleep last night. Went to bed about 12 and had set the alarm for 5 when the last pain killer would be wearing off so I could check and see if she needed more. I woke up about 3ish with her trying to get up but sliding on the wooden floor. So went down to help her but couldn't get her up - even after I'd managed to slide the two door matts under her so she could get a grip. I think by then she was too tired to try. I went back back to bed at 4 feeling a little cold and unhappy that she was stuck where she was. Dreamt of being cold! (because i still was a bit). Got up again at 6 to give her a pain killer but she was so sound I didn't want to disturb her so went back to bed and drifted in and out of sleep till 7:30 when I went down to give her her medicine. I didn't want to leave it any later.
Found a medicine that she doesn't like and doesn't want to take! For the first time ever I found myself having to push it down her throat. :(
After a little treat she got up and walked around, into the living room and onto the carpet. :)
Feeling happier I left her there and went back to bed.
Up at 9 to let her out then carry on with the day but I was so tired!

As the day has progressed she has become more alert. Still slept most of the day but in the evening she was looking brighter eyed and wandering round looking for treats.

I just sat and marked all day while getting irritated by the TV not connecting to the Internet correctly..I wanted to watch the next Giants game. And then both DVD players deciding not to work properly! :(

Well I'm about to give Jewelz another of the pills she doesn't like before settling her in the living room (on carpet) for the night where she should be able to get up and move easily if she wants to without wakening me. Hmmm!
