Tall Trees

Around lunch time today I popped across to Stamford Bridge (in North Yorkshire not London) to view a photographic exhibition put on by the local camera group. It is only about 25 miles from home.

I read about it yesterday on Mimthing's journal.

The hall was fairly small but they certainly crammed a lot of beautiful photographs in (a couple of them - photos not members - were a bit temperamental and kept hurling themselves on the floor). A nice touch was the voting slips so you could pick your favourite shot on show - not sure what the outcome was - but it was very difficult to choose.

Whilst there I got chatting to one of the members who turned out to be a fellow blipper - Jankerman. So I will be keeping an eye out for his journal.

Afterwards I walked a short way along the river towards the old railway viaduct and spotted these bare trees - basking in the autumn sunshine with a lovely blue backdrop. Looks nice in LARGE
