Common Puffball Fungi

Went with the dog to a local wood today hoping to find a few fungi to photograph. Although not a lot there was more than enough to keep me going. In fact I had a choice of several for today's image. In the end I picked this one , a common species but not usually growing in a tight group like these. They were all young and in good condition. They age they are often by animals and humans or loose their spines.
