Meadow

I have a tiny bit of meadow where i used to have a front lawn (about 2mx3m). I know you're not supposed to make a meadow out of an existing lawn, but it was much too much effort to dig it up. I imported some ox-eye daisies from the back, planted sweet vernal grass seed in pots, and scattered some vetch seeds from the hedge. It's different every year and this year has just produced a crop of large brown toadstools -two sorts. One is a boletus, this one looks like a roll rim, but I'm not sure. Shan't eat it anyway.
The slugs love them!
