Rainbow

When I took Maeve the Deerhound out for her early morning short walk today the rain was quite light and there was a rainbow over towards the South end of Kilmartin Glen.

By the time I was ready to pack the car to leave for home it was darker and the rain heavier.

The drive home was through heavy rain, with lots of standing water at the roadsides, until we got to the glen that leads to Tyndrum and the Green Welly Stop. We had a quick break there and by the time we left to head East the rain had arrived from the West.

By the time we reached Crieff we were out of the rain and everything was dry by the time we reached Perth. A quick stop to fill up with petrol in Dundee and a very quick stop at M&S for something to eat for dinner and we were home mid afternoon.
