Weather warning

After a fabulous dinner and evening with my folks, my beautiful fiancée and I took the dogs for a wander along the shore. The wind was pretty strong and the breakers at Warbeth were huge. The air was full of the smell of the sea and just cool enough to be invigorating. The tide was, unfortunately, very high and our walk was curtailed at Breckness where we had the choice of paddling around the point and getting slammed by big waves, or crossing an electric fence and squelching through a very muddy field. We decided to turn around and head back to the car. This turned out to be very fortuitous as the heavens opened just as we got to the car.
The blip today is a very tenuous link to the October Word Challenge of warning. The dark clouds in the sky were warning us that the sunshine would disappear before long...
