Not Castle Bernard

And it's not even Derelict Thursday !
Just back from a slightly frustrating day out to Bandon. Himself was after some new shoes and some specs so I went along for the craic and hoping we might time to have an expedition to explore Castle Bernard on the way back. Frustrating in that he came home empty-handed and we didn't find Castle Bernard, or at least we almost did , just not the bit you can get in to. Actually you are not technically allowed in but we couldn't even see what are extensive and impressive remains by peering over the walls or slipping down little green tracks. Anyway, todays blip is the rather sad remains of a window in one of the estate cottages - the nearest we got! More research and investigation is required. Too tantalising to ignore.
