One of the first things we learned about Istanbul, was that it is full to brimming with selfie takers. They are around every corner, beside every gimmicky street vendor and in front of every monument. They even have special gadgets at their disposal - the selfie stick: efficient 'no arm' snappage for all - obviously the first thing you think to pack when going on holiday!
