Doorway

A step from me is the church of St Steven & St George, as are so many of Norwich medieval churches it now has another function. This now is home to The Guild of Stone Masons formed in Norwich Ad936---- yea, that's it. They run a apprentice programme for trainees : young women and men. The man who manages this is himself a Master craftsman, who tells me what he most enjoys about the work is seeing a chain continuing, via the young he trains. I really enjoyed talking with him .
