.... on the way to Machermo, a village of lodges at 4,486m, where we are staying this evening. This lodge is quite luxurious compared to last night's, but the rooms are the same temperature as outside! Wifi is not available today so goodness knows when I can backblip, 2 days behind. How the world has changed when you have to find wifi connection everywhere you go. The world of the baby yaks has not changed, when they grow up, they will carry huge loads to service these lodges and the thousands of trekkers who come to see the biggest mountain views in the world.
