manuscripts at Merton College

The libraries at Oxford are rightly fussy about having manuscripts, food and drink in the same room. In this case, after a talk, they wouldn't open the wine until the manuscripts had all been taken away. I waited, and waited, but they wouldn't stop being looked at.
