A frustrating night

I have been wanting to take this shot for a while but wanted a clear night during the dusk so I get the dark blue sky and have no traffic lines on the shot. I may have cursed more than once as I got to the 28th second of a 30 second exposure for someone to turn on the Royal Mile and leave a red trail across the image only to then ruin the next one with a trail as they came back up realising that you can't drive down the Royal Mile.

In the end I got this one shot which I am happy with, now if only Edinburgh Council can remove the pedesrian crossing to get rid of that horrid wait sign then I would be really happy.
