Grasp the nettle

With a little prompting from Leo I decided to have a go with a different lighting effect. My first attempt a few weeks ago was disastrous and has put me off trying ever since. Tonight I decided to grasp the nettle and got out my orchid. I bit of messing about later and I am quite pleased with the results for the first (proper) attempt. My husband now thinks I am crazy after spending the last half hour in a darkened room, just me and my camera..
