Amaryllis

Only 4 days since I last blipped this on February 26th. The lower blooms are starting to wither and fade already but these flowers are still fresh and bright.

Unless anything interesting happens in the withering process ~ or if another flower stem appears from the bulb ~ this will be the last time I will post a photograph of it here.

This was a lovely Christmas present and I now have a record of how it brightened up the first couple of months of 2010.
