Long-tailed Tit

I have occasionally seen this sweet little bird flying in small sibling flocks but never have I had my camera around, as they appear quite suddenly and before you know it they're gone, trilling as they fly ;-)



I was very excited today as I heard them in the garden, where, by the way, I'm gradually getting a lot more bird activity, so was able to zoom inside for the long lens. We were doing lots of pruning which meant I was aware, otherwise I'd have missed them :-/
