Water Reflections

This is a little different for me. I am usually so intent on getting tack sharp photos that something like this would not occur to me. Today’s word challenge is “water.” Since I thought I would spare everyone another shot of the pond in the park, I didn’t expect to come across any other water when I was out for a walk. This is a watershed or runoff along a route that I had not taken before and I impulsively took a shot of the reflections in the water. I put it up on the screen, increased the contrast and saturation, flipped it and this scene was revealed. In addition the leaves at the bottom of the water are evident in the dark brown reflection of the tree trunks. I liked it. You might want to see it in Large.

I seem to have hit rush hour on Blipfoto tonight. I had a difficult time uploading my image, something I have not experienced before.
