My first views of Auckland were exciting......turquoise blue sea against rolling green hills and blue sky (pity I couldn't get a picture from the plane!)

Flew through passport control using the passport ereader, got my bags and spent 3o mins in a queue to get out.....straight on to a shuttle to my hotel. Quicken freshen up (much needed!) and out for a wander down to the sky tower (blip).

Decided to stay up there for a while and watch the sunset and the lights coming on below. Disappointing no one jumped from it whilst I was there (you can pay to do this I should add!)

After a quick meal, I was collapsed in bed by 10pm (2days of travelling and 3 flights of around 23hrs is hard work!)
